Richard J. Wilson serves as the Chief Operating Officer of SPEAR. He is responsible for managing SPEAR personnel, resources, logistics, and daily operations.

 

Rich also serves as principal of the Sherman Group. With over 40+ years in the CPG arena, he previously served as President/CEO of the Next Generation Beverage Company.

 

Prior to his appointment to his leadership role at NGB, Richard was Director of Retail Sales at Pepsi-Cola North America, headquartered in Purchase NY. His responsibilities included strategic development, marketing and execution of the Pepsi-Cola's multi-billion dollar liquid refreshment portfolio of brands in retail outlets.

 

Previously, Richard was one of the early executives who were members of the IBM Prodigy partnership that helped develop the internet  "Shop at Home" information technology for retail.

 

Richard recently completed a 16 year tenure on the Board of Directors at the USO of Metropolitan New York. Additionally, he is a Charter Member of the Holocaust Museum, Vietnam Wall Memorial and lifetime member of the Navy League  of the United States.
